2. Damage, loss or missing contents claims:
- written claim statement or claim intervention form (available in Polish language only) containing a short description of the problem, shipping number, amount claimed and bank account information of of the individual or business filing the claim
- bill of lading – original
- in case of insurance claim – statement from Customer stating the claim will not be filed for reimbursement with any other Insurance Company – original
- proof of value of the contents (eg. invoice, produce or repair costs calculation, etc) - original or confirmed photocopy
- “Damage Report”, if applicable – original
DHL standard claim handling time:
- 10 working days after claim documentation is completed
- In the case of insurance claims, handling time may take longer as the decision is undertaken by the Insurance Company
