Deutsche Post DHL decided on an overall CSR strategy for the whole Group. As part of the Group, DHL Express (Poland) has developed the local strategy for all our CSR activities:
Firstly, our CSR activities are focused on our employees. We invest in our people so that they were well prepared for the challenges of business. As our development depends on the work of our employees, we give them opportunities to grow with us, and reward their commitment and contribution to common business success.
Secondly, with our CSR strategy, we improve our processes and services to reduce the DHL’s impact on the environment while maintaining our financial efficiency. In 2008 we joined the Deutsche Post DHL Global Climate Change GoGreen Program. We have introduced environmentally friendly services and used cutting–edge technologies to ensure the reduction of emissions and waste generated. We optimize delivery routes, and use best factor filling for the cars, seeking to reduce emissions per shipment.
Finally, we are involved in the activities for local society; particularly, we focus on road safety and ecological education.
